The PZ Goldfinch EA is volatility-based trading strategy which exploits sudden price spikes or reversals, and has evolved from the PZ Volatility Scalper EA to be more steady and capture larger profits. The trade is taken when the volatility requirements are met and the trade is kept alive as long as the price runs in our favor, meaning the EA does not use take-profit orders.
The PZ Goldfinch EA is a never ending proyect and will be updated regularly in order to make it safer for live trading. So, in a sense, every user is a beta-tester. Feel free to contact us to let us know how is your demo trading doing!
The default parameters are good to trade EURUSD with any decent ECN-Broker.

Is this Free MT4 Scalper EA profitable?
Theoretically, it should be profitable for most low-spread forex pairs. However, the profitability of the strategy is directly related of the expectancy of each trade, which depends on the following factors. The failure of any single one of them can tilt the payoff to negative numbers.
Spread and slippage
The spread and the slippage are substracted directly from the mathematical expectancy of the trade. It can be the difference between earning 3pips or losing 2pips per trade. Whenever there is a volatility spike, the spread is likely to skyrocket because if not, the broker wouldn't be able to fill orders at a profit. So, make sure to pick a top-notch fixed-spread broker.
The stoplevel
A high stoplevel undermines your hability to secure profits and trail the stop-loss effectively. If this were the case, the take-profit should be tightened considerably.
Connection lag
A slow internet connection will cause you to take late trades and increase the amount of requotes. You need a very fast internet connection to trade a volatility-based expert advisor.
Requotes
A good amount of trades will be rejected by the broker, which won't be able to fill all your orders with acceptable slippage. These are usually the most profitable trades.

Can my broker ban my account for being profitable?
Yes, a shady broker can. If you manage to overcome all the problems in the list above and your account grows beyond the liking of the broker, your account can be closed. Make sure that the broker you intend to use accepts scalping expert advisors. However, a decent broker would simply decrease your leverage and let you trade.
